Ally's Shrimp is a legendary salmon fly. This long tailed classic was introduced by Ally Gowans back in the 1980s and has since caught thousands upon thousands of salmon. It remains a very popular fly among salmon anglers everywhere.
It is particularly good when there is a a bit of colour in the water and will take fish from early spring to the last days of autumn.
